Dist/Sect Round table Ranger Basics/Essentials Aug 13-14

During the Synergy event, the Ohio Rangers will have a round table on Friday and training on Saturday.

From District Cmdr Harry Hunt:

We are going to hold our annual Dist/Sect roundtable the Friday of Synergy which is August 13. Coupled with this, Superintendent John Wootton will be meeting with all sectional leaders of all ministries that day. You will be receiving a letter from him within the next month.

I need you to plan your schedule accordingly, if at all possible.

That Saturday RR will be teaching Ranger Essentials which is a transitional module for all current leaders and those who have completed Ranger Basics. Synergy is an event that will include your pastor, staff pastors, children’s leaders (OGM and RR), board members, etc. This is a major event for all church leaders and very vital for the RR ministry.

For you information, the new Ranger Basics and Ranger Essentials both need the new RR Leaders manual in order to complete these courses. I have around 75 that I’ll bring to Spring Trace for your purchase at the cost of $25.00 which is cheaper than you’ll get it online since there is no shipping costs.

With all of this said, the December roundtable will be cancelled. There is also a very vital need for me to get to your section and speak to all of your leaders about promoting the RR ministry. We are growing, not declining and there is much to do this year in order to cultivate that growth.

I just completed teaching the new Ranger Basics and it is 100% better than the old and actually fun to teach.

I want you to begin praying and targeting a potential staff member in your section who is either a youth pastor, children’s pastor, RR friendly pastor. I’ll explain that to you when I meet with you. The things that lie ahead of us are exciting and I thoroughly believe that every pastor will want to have the RR ministry active in their church, if presented correctly and explained efficiently.

I look forward to seeing you at Spring Trace!

Also forward any Ranger Kids info to your Sr. Cmdr’s.
